Can I message WhatsApp without saving a number?
Yes. Enter the full international number and NumDirect opens a WhatsApp click-to-chat link. You don't have to create a contact first.
Does NumDirect send the message?
No. NumDirect opens the conversation in WhatsApp. WhatsApp handles the actual sending.
Do you store my phone number?
The core tool constructs the WhatsApp link in your browser. Recent numbers, favourites and templates are stored locally on your device. Shared links use a compact encrypted payload in the URL, so NumDirect does not need a database to resolve them. Shared-link URLs are marked noindex and load into the normal NumDirect homepage.
What if the number isn't on WhatsApp?
WhatsApp determines whether an account is available for the number. NumDirect cannot create or activate an account.
Is NumDirect affiliated with WhatsApp?
No. NumDirect is an independent utility and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta Platforms, Inc.
Privacy by design. Your templates, recent numbers and favourites are stored locally in your browser. Shared links contain an encrypted WhatsApp destination inside the URL itself, so NumDirect does not need a database to remember or retrieve shared links. Clearing browser site data removes local templates, history and favourites. Encrypted backups are stored wherever you choose to save the backup file.
